This gold is from the Eagles nest mine in Northern California, Foresthill California to be exact. This specimen has another mineral crystal growing on the gold, i dont know what the crystals are but they are dodecahedron in shape and very distinct, this is the first specimen I have ever seen from Eagles Nest with this growth on it. This was a larger piece that broke in 2, so I am listing both pieces separate. This mine produces some of the most sought after gold in the world! The pictures dont do this one justice.
