Am I the only one that comes here every day? And why cant I post a question to a seller without having to bid on the item?

No Trace you aren't. I have probably not come here a total of 20 days in the last 8 or 9 (?) years. LOL
You really have to keep in mind the crappy economy and the fact gold is so high. Some buyers have just quit looking at gold. Most people are using their money just to "stay afloat" and can't afford an overpriced nugget. The high price of gold is good for some but not for the buyers like me. It really has just priced me and others like me right out of the game. It's funny because the same thing happened in the baseball card collecting hobby.

I come here almost everyday,but thanks to a few there is nothing to do here but pick a nugget and pay for it,It is nothing like the old days.There used to be a shout box so we could stay in touch but it's gone We used to be able to tell who was on line so we could holler at them but all that has gone by the way side .Some Members did not want people to know when they were online .I have the same problems about asking seller a question and have reported it but nothing yet.

The High? price of gold? a week ago it was at 1300.00 now its 1123.00 and getting ready to rocket way past 1300. IF you want in on what is about to happen... aint no time like now...

Just follow the trends. use the charts. they tell you exactly what is about to happen. Gold is finally being adjusted for inflation!

hey Fbert, I am in chat room almost every day, all day. Yea theres some bugs that mac still is working on and believe me, a new auction process that is way more exciting than ANYTHING goldbay has ever had, I am hoping its done before christmas so we can PLAY!!

Here is my question, regarding a new user here who is selling gold nuggets from "Deep in the Jungle". To my knowledge we have no jungles here. we have bayous in fla and la but they arent really well known for kicking out large (Over a couple grams) gold nuggets. SO... If this person is prospecting gold in another country, shipping it back to the states against that countrie's laws and selling it on E-Bay...doesnt that pose an international ethics and legal problem for goldbay? Just trying to watch out for us all. I bid on a couple of his/her pieces before I started thinking about this.

Trace, I think you are fairly new here, am I right? I noticed a HUGE difference here when gold hit about 600 bucks then an even bigger change when gold hit about 900 bucks. I used to buy about 300-500 bucks a month, but I feel it isn't really a good investment when it is over a grand. Sure I could be wrong, but then again, I am one of those who lost their job to an illegal and am now just barely getting by.
