I am a geologist, rock hound, and gemstone miner. I have worked in geothermal, petroleum, and mineral exploration for 27 years and have several gemstone mines/prospects (along with some geologist partners) in Nevada -- turquoise and variscite. We currently have part-time mom-and-pop pick-and-shovel mining operations at the Silver Peak and Paradise mines and operate as iTurquoise.com, LLC.
